About Elevate Wellness Studio, a wellness spa in St. Louis.

Welcome to Elevate, a modern wellness and recovery studio designed for people who want to feel better, move better, recover better and age well. Think of us as more than a wellness spa in St. Louis: a place where recovery meets relaxation, healthy aging meets technology, and self-care becomes intentional.

What is Elevate Wellness Studio?

Elevate Wellness Studio is a boutique wellness and recovery studio offering innovative, non-invasive wellness technologies designed to complement an active, healthy lifestyle.

  • Traditional spas tend to focus primarily on relaxation and beauty.

  • Traditional fitness centers focus primarily on exercise.

  • Recovery centers may focus mainly on athletes.

Elevate brings these worlds together, combining elements of a wellness spa, a recovery studio and a healthy-aging center in one approachable environment.

There is no one reason people come to Elevate, and there is no one-size-fits-all approach. We help you explore wellness technologies that fit your goals, your lifestyle and the way you want to live.

One of the foundations of Elevate is the belief that wellness begins at the cellular level. That is why our core philosophy remains: Healthy Cells. Healthier You.

Portrait of Jaime Hughes, founder of Elevate Wellness Studio

Meet Jaime Hughes.

I’m Jaime Hughes, founder of Elevate Wellness Studio. I’m also a three-time international best-selling author whose books include Shift With Intention and Soar, and the creator of the Shift With Intention podcast.

For years, I have worked with adults who care deeply about staying strong, active and independent as they age. What became very clear to me was that wellness is rarely about just one thing. Strength matters, but so does recovery. Bone health matters, but so does balance. Exercise matters, but so does sleep.

Over time, I became increasingly interested in innovative wellness technologies, including photobiomodulation, PEMF, frequency-based wellness, vibration technology, BioCharger sessions and cellular recovery technologies. I kept discovering tools that addressed different pieces of the wellness puzzle. And I kept thinking: why should someone have to drive all over St. Louis to find them?

That question became part of the inspiration for Elevate Wellness Studio. I wanted to create a place where people could access multiple innovative wellness and recovery technologies under one roof, in an environment that was comfortable, welcoming, relaxing and easy to understand.

Why I created Elevate.

I didn’t create Elevate because I thought St. Louis needed another traditional spa. I created it because I believed people needed more options for proactive wellness.

It’s also personal. I’m a breast cancer survivor, and that journey reshaped my purpose. I built Elevate for the person I once was: ready to move past surface-level fixes and finally feel like myself again.

There are plenty of places to go once something is wrong. But where do you go when your goal is simply to stay well? To recover better, maintain your strength and protect your mobility? To age well, have more energy, stay independent and keep doing everything you love? That is the space Elevate was created to fill.

I don’t believe wellness needs to be complicated. I believe in small, consistent choices. I believe in strength, in recovery and in taking time to recharge. I believe in exploring new wellness technologies while staying grounded in realistic expectations. And I believe that aging can be something we prepare for instead of something we fear.

My philosophy is centered around one idea: meaningful change often begins with small, intentional shifts.

A wellness spa experience with a purpose.

We want Elevate to feel good the moment you walk through the door. Calming. Welcoming. Restorative. Positive.

But Elevate is not simply about escaping real life for an hour. Our wellness spa experience is designed around restoration with intention. You may come in for red light therapy, relax during NanoVi or simply need time to slow down and recharge. That relaxation is valuable. At the same time, each modality is part of a much bigger conversation about your overall wellness.

Many people wait until they are completely exhausted before prioritizing recovery. We encourage something different: make recovery part of your normal routine.

Relax. Restore. Recharge. Elevate.

Our wellness and recovery services.

Each service is different. Together, they allow us to offer a broader approach to wellness.

  • Full-body red and near-infrared light therapy in relaxing sessions of approximately 8–12 minutes, commonly part of routines for recovery, skin health and sleep.

  • Advanced electrical stimulation for pain relief, circulation, muscle recovery and performance.

  • Complex PEMF, FDA-cleared for healthy muscle stimulation and a temporary increase in circulation in healthy leg muscles, with international bone research.

  • A passive, substance-free cellular wellness technology focused on oxidative stress and protein folding: you simply relax and breathe normally.

  • BioCharger NG combines light, PEMF, frequencies and harmonics, and pulsed electric fields in one seated, non-invasive session.

  • PureWave PEMF and whole-body vibration: simple, relaxing ways to add recovery and movement to your wellness routine.

  • Gentle resistance training, vibration plate sessions, and targeted balance exercises: approachable, low-impact fitness for older adults.

Healthy aging in St. Louis.

Healthy aging is one of the primary focuses at Elevate Wellness Studio. As we age, the conversation changes. It becomes less about chasing perfection and more about maintaining what matters: strength, energy, mobility, balance, mental sharpness, confidence and independence. The ability to travel. The ability to get on the floor and back up. The ability to say yes to life.

Living longer is one thing. Living well longer is another. That is the difference between lifespan and healthspan. It’s not simply about adding years. It’s about supporting the quality of those years.

A proactive healthy-aging routine may incorporate strength training, balance, movement, recovery, sleep, stress management and healthy nutrition. Elevate gives St. Louis-area clients access to several technologies that can complement those healthy lifestyle habits.

Wellness for women over 40 and 50.

Many women find Elevate during a time when their bodies begin changing. Perimenopause and menopause can bring new questions about energy, muscle, bone health, sleep, stress, skin, recovery, brain fog, strength and balance.

This can be frustrating. But it can also be the beginning of a completely different relationship with your health. Many women begin asking:

  • How do I stay strong?
  • How do I maintain muscle?
  • How do I have more energy?
  • How do I age well?
  • How do I stay active for decades?

Those are exactly the conversations we want to have at Elevate.

Women often spend decades taking care of everyone around them. Elevate gives women a place to invest some of that energy back into themselves. Menopause wellness at Elevate is not about turning back the clock. It is about building the strongest, healthiest next chapter possible.
